Nominate your Hopestead Community Champions
Our charity to end homelessness, Hopestead, has launched its ‘Community Champions’ initiative, which recognises individuals across the East who have made real difference in their local communities throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
Nominations are open to anyone in the region who has gone the extra mile; by supporting and helping in our communities during the challenges of the last year. People are encouraged to nominate their friends, family, neighbours, or even themselves and can do so through using the hashtag #HopesteadChampions on social media or visiting www.hopestead.org.
Marie-Claire Delbrouque, MD of Hopestead said: “At Hopestead, we believe in community and we were so inspired by the community spirit and generosity that was so evident in our Hope at Christmas appeal. We know that so many people have been doing great things in their communities.
“As we start this new year full of hope, we want to recognise, celebrate, and thank our Hopestead Community Champions. This is our opportunity to share incredible stories of support and shout about the efforts of those who have made a difference at such a difficult time.”
Hopestead launched in October2020, with the aim of ending homelessness in the East of England. This initiative comes after Hopestead ran its hugely successful Christmas appeal in December, collecting thousands of pounds worth of donations to help grassroots organisations and charities across Norfolk, Suffolk, and Cambridge.
The deadline for nominations is Sunday 14 March 2021 and all nominees who have been making a difference in their communities will be recognised and rewarded.
