Gasway set to keep things warm at this year’s Norwich Film Festival
Gasway, East Anglia’s largest heating specialist kicks off its third ‘Warm Stories’ campaign by premiering its latest Sky TV advert at this year’s Norwich Film Festival - running from 12 to 21 November 2021.
With this year’s Festive Period set to be one without restrictions, Gasway is not only ensuring that homes are physically warm this year but is visualising the importance of family and community spirit through its ‘Warm Stories’ campaign.
‘Warm Stories Three’ is created by Norwich-based production company ‘Trett Films’, who has again used several subtle techniques to create that warm feeling seen throughout previous Gasway campaigns. The viewer is taken on a journey of loneliness, that later highlights the importance of warmth provided by a loved one.
Gasway’s Managing Director, Nick Bartram said: ‘Throughout the pandemic, local filmmakers like ‘Trett Films’ have helped us and hundreds of companies across the UK visualise the importance of family and community. Our adverts and short films focus on the warmth that both our families and communities provide, and this Christmas it feels more important than ever to highlight this.’
The last two years have been tough for the creative industry, and by sponsoring the film festival, we’re not only able to support a great local cultural event, but also international filmmaking talent. I am really looking forward to seeing this year’s Warm Stories on the Festival’s big screen – it’s the perfect place for it to premier.’
Norwich City Football Club features again in this year’s instalment, as ‘Warm Stories’ visualises how a local football club can play a big part in bringing people together. Gasway has a long-standing partnership with the Club, and both organisations equally value the importance of strong community spirit.
Sam Jeffery, Commercial Director at Norwich City Football Club said: ‘At Norwich City Football Club, we’re proud of our partnership with Gasway. The values that we both share are very much centred around community being at the heart of all that we do. Gasway’s Warm Stories campaign is an excellent example of our partnership.’
Norwich Film Festival is a BAFTA and BIFA accredited event and has a varied programme catering for audiences of all ages and tastes, including comedy, sci-fi, international shorts, LGBTQ+ and environmental films. The event will see more than 130 thought-provoking and innovative films from the UK, US, Israel, China, Lebanon, and continental Europe. The festival is sponsored by the University of East Anglia, BFI Film Audience Network, Norwich Business Improvement District, Norwich City Council and Gasway.
Norwich Film Festival Chairman, John Gordon-Saker, said: ‘The film festival is about showing excellent films to an audience and giving filmmakers across the globe a chance to share their creations. It’s been two years since we have been able to give people that great cinematic experience in Norwich and what a line-up we have! Sponsors like Gasway who support creativity in Norfolk help keep the arts alive and vibrant, whilst promoting Norwich as a cultural hub.’
