Flagship launches 'Open House' podcast

Housing - it's so much more than just homes.
Flagship is today launching a podcast, Open House, which is now available to listen on Spotify (linked here and below).
The concept behind this podcast is a simple one. Housing is a massive and vital part of modern society, but from the outside might seem confusing. But through conversations with staff, partners and people close to the issues that affect us, we can share some insight into the inner workings of the housing sector and shed light on what you need to know about it.
We’ll talk to the remarkable people who keep it running, share stories from people who've been brought together by it, and show you why it plays such a key role in our lives.
Open House is hosted by Liv Castle, from Flagship’s Communications and External Affairs team. In this very first episode, she talks to two people from different corners of Flagship; Sam Greenacre, managing director of Newtide Homes, one of Flagship’s three housing associations, and Bee Bishop, the programme and policy manager for Hopestead, the homelessness charity founded by Flagship.
In this episode, they cover the big question: what is social housing? The conversation touches on the value of social homes, who social housing providers like Flagship welcome as tenants, and insights from the guests, who bring perspectives from two distinct parts of Flagship - plus much more.
If you have something you’d like to learn more about that we can include in future episodes, have something you’d like featured on a future episode, or would like to share any feedback, email us at commsteam@flagship-group.co.uk.
Listen on Spotify.
