Flagship Group announces changes to its Board
Flagship Group, a housing provider which owns, manages, and maintains over 32,000 homes in the East of England, today announced changes to its Board.
After several years of dedicated service, and having reached the end of their tenure, Board Members Philip Burton (Vice Chair), Peter Baynham and Paul Remington (Non-Executive Directors) and Board Advisor, Paula Cook, will be stepping down from their positions.
Paul Remington, Non-Executive Director said: “I’m sure I speak on behalf of the other departing members, when I say it’s been a privilege to work alongside a team that consistently prioritises customer satisfaction.
“Over the years, witnessing the Board's commitment to our tenants and customers, while ensuring their voices are heard, has been a source of inspiration. I’m proud of our humble yet persistent approach towards solving the housing crisis and fulfilling the Group's objectives.”
Flagship would like to express its sincere gratitude for their contributions and commitment to the Group’s vision of solving the housing crisis in the East of England.
Peter Hawes, Flagship Group Chair Said; “We’re grateful for the contributions and leadership of Philip, Paul, Peter and Paula during their tenure. Their dedication to what we do as a Group has been invaluable, and they will all be missed."
To fill these vacancies, the Group is pleased to announce the appointment of three new members to its Board, Cecilia Tredget, Dr Emma Barton and Roger Lee.
Cecilia Tredget has previously held several senior positions and comes with 38 years’ experience in housing and local government, while Roger Lee brings with him over 30 years banking and finance experience, specialising in the housing sector, working for lenders such as Santander UK plc and NatWest Bank.
Dr Emma Barton has a PhD in Organic Chemistry and 15 years of international experience, across mergers & acquisitions, business development and corporate strategy.
All new Board members share a passion for housing, delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the tenant voice is heard. As well as exploring and adopting innovative ways to increase the level of high-quality affordable housing in the east.
Peter continues; "We are excited to welcome new Board members. Their expertise and experience will be a valuable addition to Flagship, and we look forward to them joining us in March.
