A group of 12 Flagship Group employees, including nine females working in the construction industry have recently completed Construction Ambassador Training at Flagship Group in Norwich. 
The bespoke Construction Ambassador training was organised in partnership with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), where the Construction Ambassador Programme plays a vital role in supporting and promoting careers in the construction industry, from a range of different backgrounds within the construction Industry.

The 12 newly trained Flagship Construction Ambassadors are now able to provide an introduction to the construction industry for many individuals who are considering their future career options and choices.

Flagship Group Head of Learning and Development, Nadine Tapp said, “We’re passionate about what we do at Flagship and the Construction Ambassador Training gives us another reason to shout about it”. 
It’s vital for the future that we support those who are considering a career in the construction industry and encourage more women to think of it as an option. With both repairs and maintenance and gas specialist companies within the Group, we hope to use our knowledge and skills to inspire others to join the diverse world of construction”.

CITB Advisor for Norfolk and Suffolk, Laura McNeil said, “We are delighted to have the support of Flagship Group in providing a diverse group of 12 Construction Ambassadors to work across Norfolk from the same organisation. After completing the Construction Ambassador Training, each ambassador is able to use their knowledge and skills, along with Go Construct online resources to inspire and inform on Careers in Construction and showcase the vast range of jobs available in the construction sector”.
