12 new affordable rent homes near one of north Norfolk’s most popular seaside towns are nearly finished.
Flagship Homes - the development subsidiary of housing provider Flagship Group - is building the homes off Stiffkey Road in Warham, near Wells-next-the Sea.
The homes, which were part-funded by Homes England and North Norfolk District Council (NNDC), will be allocated to people from Warham and surrounding parishes by the volunteer housing group Homes for Wells.
Stephen Jones, Flagship Homes senior project manager "It’s been such a pleasure to see this project coming together, and we're excited to provide more high-quality homes for local residents."
"This development reflects our ongoing commitment to building sustainable communities across the region, working with local partners to deliver lasting value."
Representatives from NNDC and Homes for Wells recently toured the site, which has a mix of two-bedroom bungalows and two and three-bedroom houses.

Councillor Wendy Fredericks, NNDC’s deputy leader and portfolio holder for housing and people service, said: “I am really thrilled about seeing these fantastic houses being built in this community. These homes are really beautiful to look at and are set up for families to thrive.
“I'm really proud of how the site has been developed, and the care, attention and ethos this site has been built upon.”
Lynne Burdon, chair of Homes for Wells, said: “It's an amazing development, and it will be great to see 12 local families housed here, in their wonderful new homes in this lovely village.”
The energy efficient homes all have solar panels, and air source heat pumps to supply energy and heating. They were also built using modern methods of construction (MMC), with elements such as wall panels built in a factory before assembly on-site, speeding up the project.
The Stiffkey Road development is being delivered in partnership with Homes England, North Norfolk District Council, and the Sheringham Shoal Community Fund, with the latter contributing towards the site’s air-source heat pumps and solar panels.
The homes are due to be finished in January, when they will then be managed by Flagship housing association Victory Homes.
